not that johannes is paying particular attention to shylock doing something so UNSANITARY. no, his main amusement is aimed towards the question that's... mildly about a subject he's been personally skirting around.

johannes exhales a tad, something like a soundless chuckle escaping him at both the situation and the topic. he can't offer more than a nod as a quick, direct answer to shylock's question, but he does reach over to the phone he'd previously discarded to elaborate. those echoes he's received of that other, distant him (perhaps?) already paint quite a different picture, so perhaps what shylock's expecting is something entirely different as well.
